Beginners’ Kit ~ £5

Add £1 for p&p

Ideal for an ‘instant’ taster of the cyanotype process. No experience necessary. To include:

TEN sheets of quality watercolour paper coated with cyanotype solution. The paper is ready to use and stored in light-proof packaging. Sizes as follows:
Four x A6 sheets (10.5 x 14.85 cm)
Four x A5 sheets (14.85 x 21cm)
Two x A4 (21 x 29.7cm)

PLUS a set of simple printed instructions on how to do a cyanotype composition, develop a print in sunlight, rinse and dry. Featuring tips and FAQs, a brief history, suggestions of leaves and flowers to try out and where to find them. 

All you need is an old clip frame, cold water and some sunshine.

NB: Store sheets in a cool dark place. Best used within a month.

Mini-Kit ~ £15

To suit a small group of one/two, introducing the process, including coating the sheets at home. No experience necessary. To include:

A. Ten sheets of quality watercolour paper in various sizes as follows:

· Four x A6 sheets (10.5 x 14.85 cm) – two precoated and stored in light-proof packaging to get you started
· Four x A5 sheets (14.85 x 21cm)
· Two x A4 (21 x 29.7cm)

B. Foam brush for coating further sheets yourself.

C. Cyanotype chemicals: choose from:

· Hand delivery/collection: 1 x 50ml stopper bottle containing 50ml of premixed cyanotype solution (enough for up to 12 A4 sheets approx). This container is of dark glass or plastic because the mixture is light sensitive and is best stored in a box inside a cool cupboard. Will keep for a month or so.

· *Postage: 1 x 50ml bottle, containing the measured amount of each chemical solution in powder form, ready to be made up as required (with water) to make a total of 50m solution. Full instructions included.

D. Spare plastic pipette for measuring.

E. A4 clip frame for securing the compositions during printing.

F. Set of printed instructions on how to make cyanotypes at home, featuring tips and FAQs, a brief history, suggestions of leaves and flowers to try out and where to find them, ideas for further cyanotype projects.

BONUS: all of this will be packaged in a planet-friendly natural calico tote bag.
